Pokémon Red and Blue
Pokémon Red and Blue were the games that made Pokémon what it is today-the first generation of Pokémon. Making it's release towards North America in September 1, 1998 it was truly a masterpiece in the older days. The story takes place in a region of the many out there, Kanto. The hero, which is you, the player lives in the silent Pallet Town. You are entrusted a job by a Pokémon Professor by the name of Oak to fill your Pokédex with all sorts of Pokémon, which is a total of 151 (including Mew). You are not alone, though. Professor Oak's Grandson has also been entrusted with a Pokémon and with the duty of filling his Pokédex as well.
Your goal? Become the best Pokémon Trainer there is. How? Raising your Pokémon by facing other Trainers' Pokémon in grueling battles, defeating the 8 Gym Leaders that await challengers, to reach the Elite Four to become the champion of Kanto. Although there is an evil threat in Kanto, known as Team Rocket who will stop at nothing to rule the world utilizing Pokémon as tools. You must defeat them in order to calm this threat, and bring Kanto at peace. Don't forget that your Pokédex is important as well!
