I'm still feeling as lazy as ever to update the game pages with the new information that's been out for a long time, but I don't really have the motivation right now. I was, though, motivated to create a Shoddy Battle section (it excludes the download, since the project is actively maintained enough for me not to have to mirror it here), which also means a new section image for it and all. We also have a server, so you should also have a look at it.
I've been meaning to do this for a while, and I don't know why I never did. Pokeuniverse is now part of the VGLan Network. Because of this, the forums are now gone (They have never been interesting or active) and in place, the VGLan Forums has taken it's place now. If you're looking for a Pokemon-ish theme, then you can use the skin that is practically an embed from this site's layout if you're interested (The skin should be obvious from a glance at the list).
Overall, VGLan Forums is far more active than the excuse for a forum I had here, and I can probably begin to use the authority system I built for it in order to add some member exclusive sections here on the site. As for content, my lazy ass only decided to write up the Rotom page, so it's all you'll get from me right now.
I've been pretty damn slow for the latest Pokemon news and content that it's already irritating. I had a chance to grab a Japanese version ROM and have been playing through it with NO understanding in Japanese. I seriously should have considered learning it before jumping into the game like that.
It's only so much that I'd have to tend to right now that it's excruciating as well.
Should have done it sooner, so here it is along with a new screenshot today.
Enjoy!
I forgot to include this in the actual update. Wii @ Everyday, a Japanese Blog has uploaded Famitsu scans for Pokémon Platinum.
The panel on the left displays the official art for Shaymin's New Sky Forme (which has already been covered for 3 straight updates), the boxart for Platinum, and what seems to be a Wi-Fi Battle between Empoleon and the Shaymin Sky Forme. It's gathered that when you trade Shaymin from Diamond and Pearl into your Platinum, Shaymin stays sky. On the other hand, if in your Diamond and Pearl cartridges, it stays in it's normal forme.
The right panel, on the top corner displays artwork of a dark rift, which is known as 'Torn World', which lies beyond Mt. Coronet and may indeed be the location of Giratina, since Giratina is displayed right next to the art. Next to Giratina, is also a screenshot of this Torn World, as the hero ventures through it. On the right-hand side of that, is a screenshot of Eterna City with two new characters with unknown roles.
There is a screenshot on the left-hand side of Eterna City, displaying the hero on a computer, along with a few people on them as well. Right next to it is another screenshot, displaying the heroine entering a castle. I speculate this may be the actual Battle Frontier type location that was mentioned before. After that, you can see the wardrobe changes done to the main heros and the rival (minor change).
I wish I had a better understanding on Japanese-it'd make things so much easier.
Yup, it's official. Shaymin's forme has been confirmed by CoroCoro magazine itself. The scans are useless right now, since nothing may be translated from them at the present time. We've only taken two, as you can see.

This can be Abomasnow's Pet, or an ice form for all we know.

Ridiculous wardrobe change for the male character. It's as if they were going mountain climbing or something.
I'd rather not post any news with the keywords "Shaymin" after the hoax that was pulled off, but it seems that the Japanese blog, blue skY has indeed made a news post displaying badges, which may actually confirm the Shaymin Sky Forme to be real.

But now, on to the other matters. It has definitely been some time since the old, active NB server I had for Pokéuniverse some time ago. I thought it would be a good idea to give it another go, and see how far it went the last time. You can find the details on the Pokéuniverse NetBattle Server page.
I'd rather for an actual CoroCoro scan to reveal all of this information, so when it is revealed, I'll post it up when I have the chance.
Late, I know. I thought I would take the moment to announce that I'm all finished moving in. Fortunately for me, there has been no news to catch up with, so I'm pretty much up-to-date on things.
This Saturday and Sunday marks the official event for Darkrai. It is held across America in Toys 'R Us stores at 12PM - 4PM. The Darkrai being given away is the identical of the one that was given in Japan for the 10th movie promotion last year. That being said, it knows Palkia and Dialga's special moves: Spacial Rend and Roar of Time. Due to this, it cannot be stored in the GTS because of its Classic Ribbon. Make sure your local Toys 'R Us is holding this event before going with your Diamond & Pearl gear. ;)
The only place I know about that holds this event in their Toys 'R Us is in Times Square in Manhattan. I won't be going there, sadly.
I'm moving, so I won't be able to update or give you guys news. I won't have Internet for probably a month or two, and it sort of pisses me off I'm not able to supply content while I'm away. Although I hope for when I'm back, the forums are not a cementary completely. >=C
Although I urge you, to visit VGLan Network when you get the chance. They're a pretty big network and community, so feel free to drop by there as well.
Later guys!
The NetBattle section is complete. I re-uploade the installer and the patch, so it should work now perfectly. Second, I added a NetBattle Script. Have a look at it if you're a server owner and want to set yourself apart. My retarded Tier List is back up again, for sakes of those who linked to it.
Today, the official Platinum Japanese site had 2 screenshots that were of perfect quality for Pokémon Platinum. I've taken the liberty (as most sites as well...) to organizing them and adding them to their own page. You can reach it through HERE.
It's been pretty slow this month, as I expected more hype and fakes. But that's good, I suppose. In order for me to dedicate most of the site to Platinum's release, I'm required to finish writing dozens of pages, so I can be clear of all those 404s. I'm also organizing the menu and structuring it to make it less longer, so it may not be working correctly.
Better CoroCoro scans have arrived, at better resolution and quality than the previous. This confirms things such as the title, Giratina's Origin Form and the wardrobe change for the Male Hero.
Nothing big yet for this month, though you can bet that in the upcoming months will be very busy. I'll be sure to tend to most things so I can focus only on Platinum's information and release. Enjoy!
An image for the next CoroCoro Magazine has arrived, which reveals the next Pokémon Nintendo DS Title, 'Pokémon Platinum'. The preview features a few changes to the game, such as a new battle interface. Not only that, but a wardrobe change, judging from the blue trainer battle sprite, and what seems to be Cyrus (Team Galactic Leader) who stands in front of what is Giratina's Origin Form.

Hmm, next to Giratina seems to Dialga on the left, whilst Palkia is on the right-side of Giratina's black silhouette.
In addition, the following information has also been leaked:
The above information is not 100% confirmed, although only time will tell. As more information on this is revealed, I'll continue posting about this. Keep checking back for more!
