Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are the remakes of the classic Gold and Silver games, after 5 years of fan speculation ever since the release of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Not much is known from the game at the present time, however, facts obvious or not so far have been found in regards to the remake:

• Like in Pokémon Yellow, your starter follows you around.
• As forms a part of the 4th Generation games, it is to contain the Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum style of sprites.
• The release date in Japan is set for Fall 2009. It is estimated to hit North America in mid-2010.
• CoroCoro scans reveal and confirm that the female trainer shall be playable, however it is not the one from Pokémon Crystal.
• An event in Ilex Forest, which makes use of the Pikachu colored Pichu and the unusually shaped ear Pichu.
